Lemmyはセルフホスティングタイプのソーシャルリンクアグリゲーターであり、議論プラットフォームです。完全にフリーでオープンソースなソフトウェアであり、どのような企業からも管理されていません。このことが意味するところは、広告やトラッキングまたは公開されていないアルゴリズムが無い、ということです。コンテンツはコミュニティ内にまとめられるため、興味のあるトピックを簡単に登録でき、興味の無いトピックは無視できます。投票スコア機能は、最も関心を引いたコンテンツをトップに表示させるために利用されます。
